• Surrey County Council is cutting Children’s Services that protect vulnerable children, even though the service is only rated at the lowest grade and inspectors found children were at risk.
  • Fire services will be cut, meaning fires will be more dangerous. Control centre staff will be cut, and fire stations at Guildford, Woking, Epsom, Reigate and Camberley will all lose full time crews.
  • Surrey schools need more places because of a baby boom, but funding is not being increased, so every year they will face real term cuts.
  • Libraries will close in Bramley, Ewell Court, Molesey, Stoneleigh, Tattenhams, New Haw, Warlingham, Byfleet, Lingfield, Bagshot and Virginia Water.
  • The Pegasus School bus scheme, praised by David Cameron as a
green way to get more primary school children onto school buses, has now been scrapped, causing a major political embarrassment as well as making our roads more crowded.

Tandridge District Council have elections on 2nd May. I am fed up with the barrage of Conservative Party literature pouring through my letterbox. All of it is hand delivered.
Where are you in Burstow, Horne and Outwood. If you here I want your placards in my front garden saying Vote Labour!!!
